Erris FM in the Community

Erris FM continues to serves the interest of the community by:

• Airing programmes which are of interest and or showcase the diverse community in which we serve.

• Examples of these are “Speaking up for a change” Training and completed programme for the over 55’s

• Programmes made and presented by members of the IWA Erris branch.

• Programmes made & presented by the service users of “The National learners Network Up Start Programme” Gold Winners in the national annual Craol Awards.

• Weekly sports programme covering all local sports.

• Participation for Mayo Day with live links to our Erris Diaspora in New York, Luton

• We broadcast bilingually and at least 2 programmes per week in Irish only, to reflect our Gaelteacht status.

• We have produced programmes with national school children during our Easter camp and our 3 campaí Sanhraidh.
