Erris FM in the Community

Our weekly Community Notice Board programme informs people at home on all community events happening throughout the area.
We have broadcast live from our local nursing home on several occasions engaging with the residents, staff & families.
Erris FM broadcast the special commemoration live of the official opening of the Belmullet memorial to those who had given their life in both world wars, including interviews with the decedents and local historians.
Going forward we plan on introducing weekly mass to be broadcast live from our various churches.
We have broadcast some of our programmes on air and on social media live. This has enabled the Erris Diaspora to engage with the station.
We continue to expand on the number of live story documentaries on local people of interest throughout the erris region, currently a documentary is being made on U2 and a local connection
Local community groups and activists will continue to be given access to participate in numerous programmes throughout our schedule.
